The Instagram Tag

It’s been over a month since I was tagged for the Instagram tag, but I thought it’d still be fun to share my instant favorites on the blog today! What was your last picture of 2015? We were on our way to friends in East-Flanders when the sun was setting on December 31st. I had my new Black Eye wide angle phone lens with me and just had to snap a picture!   What was your first picture of 2015? Coffee. This is very telling. Barnini used to be my fave spot in town, but we’ve …

Chai lattes at home with Chalo

Chai lattes at home with Chalo

Until last Thursday I had never had a chai latte. I actually didn’t even really know what a chai latte was. Today, I am a convert. ‘Cause this stuff is good! And here’s a blog post to tell you why. Chai what? All I knew was that Chai Lattes are the new popular kid on the blog. I was curious, but I am also a creature of habit and kept to the coffee kind of latte. With vanilla syrup, because who cares? All of that changed when I was introduced to up and coming food …

A Cozy Weekend With Koffie Kàn

A Cozy Weekend With Koffie Kàn

I’ve never really expressed it on the blog (I think), but I am a coffee girl. Most people in my family, actually. Ever since I was little my parents and grandparents would have coffee together after the Sunday family dinners so I learned young. In the beginning I only had eyes for the cookie jar in the middle of the table, but as I grew older my curiosity to try the black gold grew too. I must admit that I had to learn to like the bittersweet taste. I learned to drink coffee in a social setting and …

Bedroom decoration

Bedroom decoration

With a boyfriend who is quite pleased with the way the apartment looks right now, I have taken it upon me to really get space decorated. The home office/dressing room was a no-brainer and we decided pretty quickly on how we wanted to decorate our living room as well (still a plan in progress though), but the bedroom? No. The bedroom still is just a big room with not much more than a bed. We don’t even have light up in there. Now that we’ve been living here for a few months and have got …

Tea o’clock!

Tea o’clock!

After spending hours and hours comparing washing machines, dryers, irons and vacuum cleaners from various retailers we finally went and bought most things this weekend. We both are not the types that get excited about shopping electronic household appliances, and I must say that those massive electronics stores definitely don’t give me the same rush of excitement the average Zara does. We’re happy that this part of our preparation is done! K actually texted me afterwards saying the money we spent on the vacuum cleaner was the ‘most poorly’ spend money ever (he than …
