Oh how this weekend was glorious! It feels like there has finally come an end to the everlasting cold. The promise of great sunshine and temperatures as high as 75 degrees made us flee into the city to enjoy a long walk by the riverside and eat ice creams until our tummies hurt. K surprised me with an early birthday dinner at one of my favorite places in town and he let me watch no less than 4 episodes of Once Upon A Time while he cleaned his college apartment. My boyfriend rules. On our walk, K took me down to a part of the city I had never been to before. It was such a beautiful spot! The wind was blowing heavily, hence the messed up hair, but it was perfectly warm and we had a great view over the river and city skyline. The fact that I found two hidden Pepperidge Farm cookies in my purse may have made it all even better.
