Week to the END: I passed my driving test!

Source: kremmerhusbloggen.blogspot.com via Bronwyn on Pinterest And I’m ending this week on The Ginger Diaries with a positive note: I passed my driving test this afternoon. Which means my sister better move, because now she has to share “her” car! I’m still a bit shaky and I can’t really grasp that there has finally come an end to three horrible years of driver school. That was my own dang fault, I should have been a real woman and should have carried on from the beginning. But, though on second attempt, …

Event Report: Pinko Trunk Show

Event Report: Pinko Trunk Show

Sooooo. Did I go to the fashion show or did I not? I did it. By myself. Alone. Almost peeing my pants of nervousness. K walked me down there but he turned left to meet his friends as I turned right to end up on the main shopping street. Only one more corner to turn. Dare I? My nerves were blocking my feet and I kind of sort of totally started flipping when I saw festive candles outside a store and knew that had to be the address. And then… I just crossed the street and entered. It was …

Material Girl

Material Girl

In my earlier teens I did not care for brands. H&M was my heaven, and you could find me there each first Saturday of the month to see what I could spend my little allowance on. When I grew older and was legally old enough to get a student job, the world of Zara opened and my love of clothes grew more. Totally ignoring the fact that there’s snow outside

Totally ignoring the fact that there’s snow outside

This morning I had a rough time getting out of bed. It was snowing and raining and I could hear the snow turning into hail as I stretched to get up. The sound of those little ice balls on the roof tiles made me cringe and dive back under the warm covers. Wednesdays are my worst days. It’s that time of the week where you start planning your weekends and think about all that fun, but at the same time you still have three days of work ahead of you. Three super exciting days, in my case. …

If only I had a crystal ball

If only I had a crystal ball

I’m warming my hands to a cup a Royco minute soup (chicken, my favorite!) while trying to clear my head and let the stress flow out. I went to a college fair this morning. I graduate in June, well hopefully I do, and that means I should hit the labor market by July. I’ll be 21 then, fresh and green and not grown up at all. I don’t feel ready to spread my wings and start this new chapter in life yet. That’s why I’ve decided to go for a Masters …

New Look Store Re-opening

New Look Store Re-opening

On the 7th of February the New Look store on Antwerp’s high street re-opened after being treated to a complete make-over. I teamed up with Laurein to check out the new look of New Look. To me, The old store concept felt rather heavy, with bold yellow shelves and tiny rooms filled to the brim with clothes and shoes. The renewed store looks clean and organised and is a true pleasure to look around in. Laurein, lucky duck, had won a gift card and went completely wild. They had a 50% off sale on the whole collection, …
