An Easy Weekend Look

I’m writing this post quickly between dinner and laundry. I think my washing machine will only be a few more minutes so I’m going to keep this short and sweet. The days have been long and busy lately, with little time to sit down quietly and read blogs, keep up with YouTube or write my own blog posts. I feel like I’m losing my head in the disorderly mess that my life is right now. Fingers crossed I feel sturdy ground under my feet soon… . In the meantime: casual outfit shoot of an outfit I’m not sure I want to share. Something’s off. Or maybe it’s just because of my mood. I threw together my favorite new clothes and this old H&M skirt that I got two years ago just to go catch Pokémon with K and wait for the ice cream truck. I haven’t worn the skirt much since I got it and tbh I’m not feeling mini-skirts. Never really have. The only reason I’ve been keeping it in my closet is because black skirts are supposed to be a good staple, but this is the third summer that I haven’t worn it so… out it goes.

Ah, laundry is ready. That should probably get out too, so I’m off to juggle my household with the messiest boyfriend ever. Fingers crossed he hasn’t loaded the laundry basket back up by now!
