Early in July, my mom, my youngest sister and I went down to Antwerp to get all the paperwork done for my student apartment – yay! – and for my first year at uni. Since my sister had never seen Antwerp’s famous shopping streets, my mom asked to tour them around and show all my favorite places. I took that opportunity mainly to walk by my favorite food places and a few smaller shops that never let me down. The tour was very rewarding, to say the least, with a refreshing frozen yogurt (I may have gotten my mom addicted to the stuff), a yummy coffee with whipped cream and caramel aaaand this lovely butterfly-print dress. After we got our froyos my mom and sister went into my one of my favorite stores to find cute dresses, Sienna at the Lombardenvest. Since I hadn’t finished my froyo yet, I sat down on a bench a little further away to look at all the people buzzing by. The week before, K and I had visited Sienna already in hopes to find a dress for my graduation party. I first choose the actual dress I’m wearing in these photos, but decided to leave it as I knew it was going to be on sale the week after. I bought a FW collection dress instead. And the dress went on sale. And I didn’t think about it anymore. And my mom bought it for me. Without knowing that I wanted it. I tell you… parents have psychic skills… seriously. They have to!

P.S. unfortunately our licenses expire here in the US. Mine expires in October so I have to renew it before I head back to school. It used to be automatic renewal but not anymore.
