Just stopping by for a quick little update on my new camera! Today I gathered all my courage and ventured outside the safety zone that is my house with my tripod. I thought this part of the woods was a safe place to get over my fear since you have to climb over a little brook to get here and the trail ends just a little behind where I stand in these photos. Wrong thinking. Two men came by walking their dogs. That one puppy almost killed my camera…

Apart from the first photo all my photos came out blurry. I can make such stupid mistakes sometimes! I left my camera in the wrong mode and forgot to check the focus. I could slap myself! I sometimes think it’s true what they say, gingers descend from blondes, haha.

Oh no! Better luck next time 🙂 I try to check what I'm doing every 3-4 shots just to be sure nothing is set up wrong.
At least you looked cute and you got one nice shot! Happy Thursday, Nikki

Oh, Nikki, don't be so hard on yourself. I've only taken a couple pictures with my tripod and they were attrocious, but I know you'll get it.
And your outfit is fab!

Glad that your camera survived the dog… The setting is lovely though!
My camera only takes one photo at a time in self-timer mode, so I always check how the picture came out when I walk back to set it again… It's a pain to walk there and back, but at least I now how I'm doing. 🙂

At least the two photos side-by-side makes it look like an artistic choice. (: And you had an adventure shoot so the next one should be flawless, right?
LyddieGal says

Leuke outfit Nikki! Maak jij al je foto's dan zelf met zelfontspanner? Want dat komt er bij dus altijd rotslecht uit 😀 …

Oh, your little adventure sounds fun! I love that blurry photograph…even if it was a mistake, it still looks fun 🙂

At least you know to do all those things with your camera haha, I'm so clueless about taking photos! I just kinda set it on self-timer, click, run to my spot, pose and hope for the best.
Either way, I like your layering in this!

Haha At least it's reversible! My camera is doing all sorts of weird, blurry, blue, things all on it's own! It's just dying, literally, to be replaced! The blurry photo is actually pretty cool though… it would make for a great little blogger button!

I feel so awkward taking photos of myself outside on self timer. My neighbors must think I am crazy. Anyway, glad you got a nice shot of this outfit because I am crazy about it!
