My Favorite Spring Jacket

This jacket is tha bomb diggity. It’s half bomber, half parka and perfectly light-weight. The collar is beautifully embellished, but forgot to make a close-up shot to show you the amazing details. This jacket is the perfect throw-on piece to finish of a basic look and can be worn is so many different outfit that I’m sure you’ll be seeing it loads on my blog!

I’ve never been happier that I shot a few of my favorite Spring outfits in a row, since the weather has been a real #bloggerproblem lately. Rain, hail, rain, hail, … and endless streams of ice cold wind have made it impossible to shoot in- and outside. I still have a few product shots that desperately need to be taken, but the skies just won’t clear up. The day we shot these was bright and sunny, allowing for that beautiful glow I love so much. We found this location unexpectedly while shooting the photos for my sisters 21st birthday invitations and after making my sister pose between the blossoms, I dragged my boyfriend out there to shoot my outfit for the blog.

Not that he minds much. The company he works for is hosting some kind of health event and gave all employees an activity tracker and made it possible to compete with your colleagues. Every step counts, so he (for once) gladly accompanied me to this very pathway across town. It’s getting hilariously out of hand though, with him checking his stats every hour or so trying to beat everyone on the team and especially his brother who works at the same company. When his daily goal is reached, the app on his phone sends out a congratulating message and seriously guys, he comes to show it to me as proudly as young kids show their newest drawings or other masterpieces. It’s the cutest thing. And it get’s me blog photos.
