Where K and I live, there’s lots of almost untouched nature and farming activity. Half of the cars on the road are used in agriculture and there are vegetable and fruit farms scattered through out the landscape. There’s a strawberry automat next to the road that leads from my town to K’s and it’s fully stocked again since this weekend! It’s a must stop when we meet each other again at the end of the week. Hmmmmm. After eating what felt like my body weight in strawberries on Sunday morning, we decided to go check out a heath that apparently lies in between our hometowns. I never knew it was there and that’s a true crime! It’s seriously amazing up there. Wild birds are flying from puddle to puddle, there’s new sights to discover behind every bush and it’s so peaceful to look over the vast lands and feel the wind touch your skin. The sun wasn’t shining, but the temps were nice enough so I didn’t need much of a jacket. We took the smallest tour, but went off-trail here and there to see more of the area. The heath itself is protected and breeding season is also in full swing, so we weren’t allowed behind the barbed wire fences, but boy, did we enjoy the day. I was a bit sad when we went homewards again at noon. I can’t wait to go back and see the little ducklings in early summer!
I’m having a lot of “first times” this week, haha. The first strawberries of the year and my first time at the heath are not the only new things coming my way. I also had my first real client appointment today (which did not go so well), I’ll be driving alone for the first time tomorrow and on Wednesday I turn 21 for the first time. Well, and the last.

Oh! It looks so beautiful!! I'm definitely one for adventures and exploring new places, particularly in nature! We just got back from France and by golly it is green and beautiful and although we were only there for a few days, I wish I could call it home. We live in a beautiful world!
