• Gdańsk and I, a Love Story

I can hear you going “G-what“? Gdańsk is a harbor city the North of Poland and a relatively new tourist destination. Most people who pass through Poland will stop at Warsaw or Krakow and an odd few visit Poznan as well. Gdańsk is still a bit the odd man out. The city is unknown to many Millenials, which is a sad given since Gdańsk was the scene of an enormous social revolution that has set the tone for modern day living in Europe. I’m not a history teacher, so I’m going to spare you the lessons about occupation and liberation…

    Light Check Blazer For Spring

These photos might not show it well, but Spring has arrived! I’m fully enjoying the first signs of the new season. Daffodils are popping up everywhere, squirrels are running around our yard and doves are busy building nests in the trees surrounding our house. I love feeling the warmer breeze when I step outside in the morning and the scent freshly mowed lawns when I return home from work. Spring is heavenly! How To Style Cardigans in 2018

These photos look like they were made in fall, but they’re actually pretty recent (if you can agree…

A Short Fashion Wish List for Spring

I’m done with dark colored clothes. I’m done with the static electricity that my wool knits cause when they rub against the polyester lining of my winter coat. I’m done with bomb cyclones and polar vortexes, however cool they may sound (pun intend). I never though I’d say this, but I am longing for the scorching 44°C we had in Sevilla last summer. I am that done with winter. A few days ago I found myself scrolling through the new arrivals pages of my favorite retailers. Seeing all the colorful blouses and floaty dresses got me really excited for Spring!…

If you follow me along my travels or if you take a close look at my Instagram page, you will have noticed my love for flowers already. I try to have fresh flowers around the house all the time and they often make an appearance in my blog photos too. I recently received a bouquet in a very unlikely way and I wanted to share more about that with you today! For this blog post I also had some fun with my new DSLR camera and Lightroom, so any feedback on the photos is welcome! I’m still learning… . Greetz.be…

My Favorite Coffee & Food Spots in Copenhagen

As promised, a blog post about the best coffee bars and food spots we visited in Copenhagen. In just four short days we managed to find all the hipster food that CPH is so well known for: sourdough pizza’s, top-noch falafel pitas, hot cinnamon rolls, steamy cappuccino’s and of course royal portions of avocado toast. Are you ready for this? Scroll on! Coffee in Copenhagen The Coffee Collective A true feast for your taste buds, The Coffee Collective on Jægersborggade was by far my favorite coffee bar in the city. They roast their carefully selected beans locally and pour a…
