AD| Mylène PureSkin Review

New in my beauty cabinet: bits of the Mylène PureSkin line. Wait… beauty talk? Yes, beauty talk. Everyone probably remembers how I exclaimed I’d never become a beauty blogger, but since many of my blogging friends write about make-up, skincare, hair care and nail art I got sucked into the new-to-me world of beauty anyway. With the amount of beauty-related blog events I attended in the last few weeks a breath of fresh blog subjects was in the air. I still will never become a beauty blogger, but sharing a small discovery every now and …

Among the Blooming Bluebells

Among the Blooming Bluebells

Some people have a travel bucket list, but I have a shoot location bucket list too (and, well, one with coffee bars). Am I weird for that? Years and years ago I made a bucket list of all the places I wanted to visit in Belgium. To this day, not many items have been scratched off, aside from exploring Brussels (which I’ve been doing lots of lately!). Not too far from Brussels is Halle, well-known for it’s beautiful Hallerbos. The Hallerbos is a forest that turns into a fairy tale-like scene every Spring. Shades of white and yellow slowly turn into shades of purple as daffodils and white anemones make way for a sea of blooming bluebells. The gentle perfume they spread is …

Skechers Wijnegem Store Opening

Skechers Wijnegem Store Opening

Skechers recently opened its first mono-brand store in Wijnegem (Belgium) and I was there to check things out! My dear old friend L was in need of some retail therapy and what better way to fight the wardrobe blues than to go shoe shopping! Not that I needed any more shoes, but *spoiler alert* I found the Skechers pair of my dreams. 12 years ago… When I was in High School Skechers had its first moment right after the Von Dutch / Scapa / Converse high-tops period. Does anyone actually remember the tattoo-style Von Dutch caps or navy blue Scapa…
