• La Vida Dulce in Seville

Okay, I’ll start this blog post off with a confession. I wasn’t anywhere near Seville this summer. Or this year even. My hair that is still long in the photos will give that away too. I visited the southern Spanish city in June of 2017, together with my boyfriend, who had been dying to take me there since we started dating in 2009. I just didn’t feel it. Spain, I mean. I never had a thing for “the South”, as we Europeans like to call it. I’m a Northern girl at heart. A lover of forests, rivers and mountain views.…

    Sage Green Jumpsuit

Here I am, once again, almost tore myself to pieces because of a painful ear infection that decided to tag along with me the past week. I took a week offline to basically lie on the bed, one hand covering my ear, yelling at my boyfriend to repeat himself louder because I couldn’t understand a single thing he said. It’s also the reason why I’ve been away from my blog last week. The infection seems to have eased away today, so fingers crossed I’ll be all better when I board that plane on Thursday! Yes, you read that right: I’m…

    Summer Dream Dress

Sunflowers, earlier sunsets and Starbucks who has officially declared #PSL season opened can only mean one thing: the end of Summer is near. While I’m still not ready for cinnamon spice and everything nice (ha!) that Fall has to offer, I have started wearing darker colors more past two weeks. Who would’ve thought that I would wear anything else this Summer than my beloved white dresses, huh? Every year around mid august I start to feel a little tired of my light and bright wardrobe and gravitate more towards darker colors like navy and black. I have a beautiful black…

AD | Pure Leaf Iced Tea

A few months ago the PR team behind Pure Leaf reached out to me. They asked me if I was interested in trying out the 3 new iced tea flavors and maybe create some Instagram content around them. If you know me at all, you know I’ll always choose coffee over tea. Sadly, hot coffee and hot summers don’t match quite as well as cold tea and hot summers, so when the temperatures were nearing 40°C (100 F) I was more than happy to have these around. One evening my boyfriend and I each took a bottle of our favorite…

    The Perfect Summer Dress 2019

It seems as if every blogger has moved on to Fall already and I’m still here dabbling with Summer dresses. I just don’t see the point in wearing Fall clothes while it’s still 25°C and bright sunshine outside? There will be plenty of cool days ahead, so my plaid flannels and new Barbour Beadnell jacket will undoubtedly get their time to shine later on. I found this dress at Urban Outfitters (in June I think) and in retrospect it has been my favorite summer dress this year. I wanted to dip my toes in the smocked top trend and wasn’t…

    A Mini Guide to Paris

Hi there, welcome back! I hope you guys are having a lovely week so far. I missed posting yesterday because it was a holiday (Mothersday) here in Belgium and I got so caught up in house work that I completely forgot to finish this blog post. But, here we are. Better late than never, am I right? Well, this post *really* is a latecomer. I’m throwing it way back here, back to a time where I was closer in age to 20 than 30, my hair was still long and I proudly wore leggings as pants out in public (apparently,…
