Tis the season: Zalando pop-up shop opening

Tis the season: Zalando pop-up shop opening

I am sitting behind my rental desk in my rental studio in the flannel PJs that my mom gifted me a few weeks ago. Behind me is my bed with flannel covers, waiting for me to crawl in and depart to dreamland. Yet, I suddenly realized it is Thursday, and Thursdays are my posting days. And I knew I wasn’t going to be able to sleep without having this post up. So here it is: my first Holiday inspired post of this winter season! …

Pressdays: The Big Tour

Pressdays: The Big Tour

Today I have more spring / summer goodness for you. I teamed up with Naomi from the blog Dress Your Life, and together we made a plan to visit our three favorite showrooms in one day. As we are both style bloggers, it’s needless to say that we came, we saw and we fell in love. Today I have a small list of my favorites from that day, starting with the Marnix and Ally PR agency, a stop by the Media Mania showroom and last&…

Pressdays: The Big You 4

Pressdays: The Big You 4

I have a confession to make. The Big You, cherry on top of the blogger-event-cake, was not really a part of the most recent pressdays held by the Antwerpian PR agencies. TBY, as bloggers and fashion-lovers so lovingly abbreviate it, already took place in early October of this year. I lost the SD-card containing the photos. Yes, I lost two SD-cards in one weeks time. But can we forget about my carelessness, and instead focus on the amazing products I got to see, smell, …

Event Report: FashionClash 2013

What happens when you’re in a car with two people you only just met? Awesome stuff happens, of course! So. FashionClash 2013. On Saturday June 1st my alarm clock was supposed to go off at 6:30am. I woke up with a panic at 8:15 from the noise caused by two tractors plowing the field next to our house. The train left in the next town over at 8:45. Not Good. I don’t think I’ve ever eaten, showered, got dressed and brushed my teeth as …

A week full of good news and pictures of onions

A week full of good news and pictures of onions

I passed my internship! Goodness, I’m so happy!!! K and I also celebrated our 4 years together this week and I am looking at two weeks of vacation with good weather. My cousin welcomed his third daughter into the world today, her name is Julie ans she’s so precious! I’m afraid to hold her, because she’s so tiny. On top of all that, my mom bought me the prettiest embellished top, I found the a great pair of wet-look shorts at an …

The Marnix & Ally press room from my angle

The Marnix & Ally press room from my angle

It’s that time again where all the press agencies open up their doors for stylists, bloggers and other fashionistas to discover the newest collections from the brands they represent. Marnix & Ally is the newest kid on the block, and since I hadn’t been to their showroom before I really wanted to visit them during this weeks press days. They offer new and upcoming brands a platform and do a great job getting them out there. I receive their newsletters regularly&…

21

I’m sitting behind my laptop, with a delicious slice of Victoria sponge cake and a cup of coffee. I’m smiling, because I turn 21 today. I had a great day today. Even though I had to kiss everyone in the office this morning. I hate that. Can’t we just shake hands? No? Please? Haha! I brought three cakes to work to celebrate, and even though they were a bit dry, they were delicious! I forgot I shared the day with a …

Out in the heath

Out in the heath

Where K and I live, there’s  lots of almost untouched nature and  farming activity. Half of the cars on the road are used in agriculture and there are vegetable and fruit farms scattered through out the landscape. There’s a strawberry automat next to the road that leads from my town to K’s and it’s fully stocked again since this weekend! It’s a must stop when  we meet each other again at the end …

Antwerp: shopping, eating and seeing

Last weekend, K and I headed for the city to enjoy the first sunny days of Spring. It was a most amazing weekend with a visit to the local market and a long, loooong walk through the city and harbor  K picked out a nice old piece of cheese from his favorite market stand and I and finally got myself a huuuuge bag with a nut mix. We enjoyed our treats while catching up on series before we stretched our legs …

Week to the END: I passed my driving test!

Source: kremmerhusbloggen.blogspot.com via Bronwyn on Pinterest And I’m ending this week on The Ginger Diaries with a positive note: I passed my driving test this afternoon. Which means my sister better move, because now she has to share “her” car! I’m still a bit shaky and I can’t really grasp that there has finally come an end to three horrible years of driver school. That was my own dang fault, I should have been a real woman and should have …

Event Report: Pinko Trunk Show

Event Report: Pinko Trunk Show

Sooooo. Did I go to the fashion show or did I not? I did it. By myself. Alone. Almost peeing my pants of nervousness. K walked me down there but he turned left to meet his friends as I turned right to end up on the main shopping street. Only one more corner to turn. Dare I? My nerves were blocking my feet and I kind of sort of totally started flipping when I saw festive candles outside a store and knew that had to&…
