Fleamarket Finds

Oh, how much I envied those beautiful vintage looking schoolbags from Urban Outfitters. I just could not pay €100 for a bag I knew would not be completely “my thing”. So, as I told you before there was a huge fleamarket in town on Easter Monday. I went with my friend Susan and we bumped into my parents, right in front of this amazing stall full of vintage schoolbags and suitcases. I fell in love with this little fella, and my dad seemed to be in a generous mood…
There is no schoulder strap to it, so I am searching for a perfect ribbon that I could use to make one, or maybe I’ll ask the man from the leathershop if he can make one.

This eighties top has such a lovely spring color!  The fabric is a bit outdated and not from the best quality but still this top was a very nice find for  €0.50.

In four weeks my final examinations start. Only thinking about this gives me the chills!
I still have so much work to do!
I hope I don’t fail any courses or I might be unable to go to the Pukkelpop Festival!
UPDATE: I just noticed the awfull quality of the photos. Please excuse me for this,! I don’t know why blogger does this because they look perfectly fine on any other page…

best find ever! the leather looks wonerful. I've been searching high and low for one like that. Have you thought about using an old vintage belt for a strap? You can get leather needles pretty cheep so you can sew it on.

you're pictures are just beautiful! I'm really happy to have found your blog. I think it is just so cool that you speak 3 languages! I was just in Belgium for holiday in April and was so worried before I got there that no one would speak English, but nearly everyone did!
Anyway, I can't wait to keep reading 🙂 by the way, I think the aesthetic of your blog is just lovely!
